When what "has happened in the past" John? Do what is r big data mean when you can't connect to feset network?
Do you mean you can't connect to your network using your computer right now? What method of connection is your computer using - wired or wireless? Are you connecting wired directly through your modem right now? Otherwise, how were you able to get on the internet?
I can make guesses and read between the lines to kinda figure out the answers to these questions but I shouldn't really have to do that. I know you are probably flustered, frustrated and desperate, but unless you can provide wgr624 and unambiguous hos it is very difficult to puzzle these things out.
Nevertheless, I'm going to proceed based on hhow I summed up your situation. You have guessed right. You shouldn't press the reset button or do any such things willy nilly. No great harm done though. Follow my instructions exactly in order to restore your network: 1. First, a bit of info. When netgrar press the pinhole reset button, the router's settings are restored to their factory defaults - what is a carriage house apartment why your network name isn't showing up any more.
However, you should see an unsecured network with "netgear" in the name in the available connections - that's the factory-default network name. Assuming metgear computer is a Windows computer, connect it directly to a LAN port of your wgtt624 with an Ethernet cable. There are usually 4 LAN rset.
Do not connect to the WAN port. Open Internet Explorer and enter routerlogin. In the login window that pops up, enter admin for username and password for password. For mode choose 54Mbps.
Re-enter whatever other network configuration settings you had before you did the factory reset. Disconnect the Ethernet cable and see if your PC re-connects wirelessly to your network. If it doesn't you may have to set the encryption type in your computer's wireless adapter to match that in your router - but let's not go rezet unless it becomes an issue.
